Welcome to another episode of Flipping Friday! Today, we’re featuring a budget CPU and GPU combo along with a budget case that’s dominating the PC flipping market.

Starting with the CPU, we have the Ryzen 5 3600. This 6-core, 12-thread chip was a staple in mid-range builds when it launched in 2019 and remains a solid option in the used market today. Its popularity has made it a hot item for budget builds and flips.

The motherboard chosen for this build is the Asus Prime B450M-A2. It was selected for its affordable price and white and black color scheme. Given the current variability of the used AM4 motherboard market, opting for a new board often proves more reliable.

In terms of RAM, a used HyperX all-white 2x8GB kit clocked at 3200 MHz was selected for its solid price of $36. While new RAM kits are competitively priced, good deals on used kits can still be found.

Storage is handled by a Team MP33 512GB NVMe drive. An alternative, the MSI Spatium M450, offers better performance and PCIe Gen 4 support, making it an attractive option if on sale.

Cooling the Ryzen 5 3600 is its stock cooler, painted to match the build’s aesthetic. The BitFenix Formula Bronze 600W PSU, paired with an Asia Horse white extension kit, provides ample power while maintaining a clean look.

The star of our build is the DIY PC ARGB Q3 case. Priced at $60, this Micro ATX case features a dual-chamber design and comes with three pre-installed RGB fans. Its resemblance to the Lian Li 011 design and popularity in the flipping community has made it a fast-selling item.

Powering our setup is the Asus Dual GTX 1060 6GB, chosen for its all-white design and affordable price of $68. Despite its age, this GPU performs well in 1080p gaming scenarios.

For RGB control, the case offers options for both motherboard connection and a reset switch conversion, making it ideal for budget builds without dedicated ARGB headers.

This build, totaling approximately $398, delivers a high-end aesthetic and reliable performance, making it suitable for budget-oriented gamers and flippers alike.

Benchmarks demonstrate that the Ryzen 5 3600 and GTX 1060 6GB combo handle various games well, delivering satisfactory FPS numbers. The Time Spy score provides a benchmark for performance comparison.
